Purchase Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Administrate the procurement process (Purchase requests, Purchase Orders, contract

engagement, relationships with suppliers…)

• Contribute to the definition of procurement strategy and policy of KHMRTS and ensure its

implementation.

• Implement all procedures, methods and tools that allow to improve procurement

performance: IT functionalities/tools, evaluation matrix for monitoring suppliers, follow-up of

litigations, KPIs.

• Liaise with other departments and divisions for all procurement topics.
• Organize RFQ processes for any type of service/material.
• Identify the purchase opportunities that allow creating synergies and savings through

appropriate collection of the needs of all the departments of the company.

• Contribute to the preparation and validation of procurement procedures, process, and

methods.

• Contribute to transmitting procurement best practices and ensure that already existing

master contracts are applied by the departments of the company.

• Be open to economic environment/benchmarks in order to identify potential evolutions of the

market that can allow the implementation of new levers for improving procurement function.

• Enhance the procurement function towards the business / operational functions in order to

reinforce its legitimacy across the company.

• Prepare a yearly procurement plan in line with objectives of the company and Keolis Group
• During the first year in particular, contribute to the AMS (Maximo) and ERP (SAP)

implementation (when it comes to procurement related functionalities).

Preferred candidate profile

• Fluency in English
• Excellent ability to negotiate.
• Good capacity to manage stress.
• Good business understanding
• Rigorous and precise
• Strong organizational, multitasking, time-management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
• Previous practice / knowledge of ERP and AMS
• Strong oral and writing skills.
• Leadership skills and ability to convince to legitimate the procurement function towards the

managers of the company.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineer Graduate
• Experience 8+ Years; At least 4 years of experience in a procurement function in an industrial environment, ideally with in an MNC.
