Information Security Engineer II

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect the company's IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and analyze security events for unusual activity and potential threats.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as SSCP, Security+ or GCIA are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in IT security, including network security, application security, and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and security frameworks.
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., PCI, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Windows and Linux administration.
• Administration experience with endpoint, network, and cloud security controls, cisco umbrella.
