Senior Payment Transformation Specialist (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Payment Transformation Specialist to lead and manage complex payment transformation projects for global banking clients. The role involves driving end-to-end payment modernization programs, mentoring junior team members, preparing technical assets, and exploring automation opportunities to enhance process efficiency. The candidate must have hands-on expertise in payment systems, ISO20022 standards, and integration with various payment schemes, along with technical proficiency in banking systems and enterprise technologies.

Key Result Areas :

- Deliver end-to-end payment transformation programs with a focus on ISO20022, ensuring timely and quality outcomes.

- Mentor junior team members and monitor their progress, resolving business-critical technical challenges.

- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation to enhance efficiency and eliminate manual efforts.

- Prepare reusable technical assets, such as training materials, case studies, and technical documentation.

- Actively contribute to RFI/RFP responses with accurate and impactful technical inputs.

- Recognize incremental revenue opportunities with existing clients and provide recommendations for additional services.

- Ensure seamless integration with core banking systems and payment schemes, maintaining high performance and reliability.

- Maintain compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements across all payment systems.

- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with onshore and offshore teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and requirements.

Relevant Skill Set :

Primary Skills :

- ISO20022 expertise with hands-on experience in MT to MX migration.

- Experience with financial systems such as Flexcube and Finacle.

- Familiarity with Temenos products like Transact, TAP, and Infinity

- Integration with payment schemes : BACS, CHAPS, Pay.UK, SEPA, Target2, RTGS, EURO1, and SWIFT.

- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Infobasic, OFS, OFSML, TAFJ, JMS/MQ, IRIS, T24IF, and TOCF.

- Proficiency in Unix, Linux, Windows operating systems, and databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and JBase.

Preferred Skills :

- Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, SOAP/REST Services, and Kafka.

- Knowledge of cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, cloud-native development, API gateways.

- Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Agile Scrum methodologies for project execution.
