Position: Head of Maintenance.
Location: Mumbai (with travel to multiple locations).
Employment Type: Full-time.
Position Overview:.
We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Maintenance to manage and ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of our restaurant facilities across multiple cities.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in using asset management software and will be responsible for leading a team to ensure that all equipment, facilities, and assets are well-maintained and compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Oversee and manage the maintenance of all Burma Burma locations across multiple cities, ensuring top-notch facilities and equipment functionality.
- Utilize asset management software to track, monitor, and maintain records for all equipment, maintenance schedules, and budgets.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure that all repairs are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage relationships with external service providers, contractors, and vendors for outsourced maintenance services.
- Conduct routine inspections of restaurant facilities to ensure compliance with safety, health, and operational regulations.
- Lead and train a team of maintenance personnel, providing technical support and mentorship.
- Manage maintenance budgets, negotiate contracts, and optimize operational costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Implement emergency response protocols and ensure all safety equipment and procedures are up to date.
- Regularly report on asset performance, maintenance activities, and cost management to senior management.
Qualifications:.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance management, with at least 5 years managing multi-location or multi-city properties (preferably in the F&B/hospitality industry).
- Proven experience in using asset management software to monitor equipment, track maintenance schedules, and manage repair histories.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, electrical, plumbing, and other restaurant infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead remote teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance and cost control.
- Familiarity with local and national safety, health, and building codes relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Ability to travel to different cities for inspections, audits, and emergency repairs when required.
