Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Engineer with a strong background in RDBMS and PostgreSQL to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in database development, data modeling, and optimizing database performance.

This role involves working on cutting-edge projects, ensuring database scalability, and implementing best practices for efficient data management.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust RDBMS and PostgreSQL database solutions.

- Optimize PostgreSQL queries for performance, scalability, and efficiency.

- Modify databases based on requirements and conduct thorough testing.

- Analyze, monitor, and troubleshoot database performance issues.

- Develop and maintain efficient backup and recovery processes.

- Establish best practices for database programming and ensure uniformity in database-related efforts.

- Stay updated on emerging database technologies and evaluate alternative database management systems.

- Collaborate with developers to improve applications and enforce best practices.

- Ensure the performance, security, and integrity of database systems.

- Train, mentor, and guide junior team members while contributing to performance evaluations.

Skills Required :

- 8+ years of experience as a Database Engineer/Developer, with strong expertise in RDBMS and PostgreSQL.

- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, data modeling, and database optimization techniques.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of database backup and disaster recovery processes.

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (like MongoDB) preferred.

- Familiarity with Git, CI / CD processes preferred
