Job Summary

As a Lead Generation Specialist for our UK-based recruitment agency, your primary responsibility will be to identify potential clients using web research from various sources.


You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by targeting prospective clients in the UK (and internationally) and managing the lead pipeline from initial identification to setting up the email marketing campaigns.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Full-Cycle Lead Management: Own the complete lead generation process from identifying the list of contacts and setting up an email campaign
  • Prospecting and Qualification: Identify, qualify, and generate B2B leads in the UK and international markets who require recruitment and staffing solutions.
  • Email Marketing Strategy: Plan and execute email campaigns, including performance monitoring, optimization, and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Database Management: Create and maintain an accurate list/database of prospective clients, ensuring all key details are captured.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal and client-facing teams to ensure alignment on lead quality, recruitment goals, and conversion strategies.
  • Targets & Quotas: Consistently meet or exceed weekly targets
  • CRM Updates: Maintain and update the CRM with the most recent status of leads, ensuring data integrity and clear handoffs to the sales/recruitment teams.

Skills Required:

  • Organizational & Prioritization Skills: Ability to manage multiple lead generation activities efficiently.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems to log activities, build and maintain contact records, and track lead conversion.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent English language skills (written and spoken), with the ability to engage professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
  • LinkedIn/Web Research Expertise: Skilled in leveraging LinkedIn, web research, Facebook, Google, and other platforms for data collection and prospecting.
  • Email Marketing & Internet Lead Generation: Familiarity with industry segmentation, data scouring, and crafting targeted email campaigns.
  • Commercial Acumen: Knowledge of how business models of companies work across various markets

Nice to have skills:

  • Recruitment Industry Insight: Knowledge of the UK recruitment landscape or experience working with recruitment/staffing agencies is a plus.
