Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tester with 03 years of experience to join our e-commerce development team. This role is ideal for candidates with prior software development experience who are passionate about ensuring product quality and are looking to transition into software testing and quality assurance.

Program Structure:

Internship Duration: 6 months

Stipend: ₹30,000 per month

Post Internship: Based on performance during the internship, candidates will be offered a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, execute, and document test cases for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Backstop.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
• Contribute to the development of test strategies, plans, and procedures for comprehensive test coverage.
• Apply testing methodologies, tools, and best practices in a real-world development environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with graduation in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
• Competitive Programming: An active account on platforms like LeetCode, CodeChef, or Codeforces with a minimum of 200+ problems solved.
• System Design Knowledge: Basic understanding of system design concepts.
• Experience: 03 years of experience in software development or testing.
• Development Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, and CSS3, with a strong willingness to apply them in a testing context.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience using testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Magento or WordPress.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
