Selenium Automation Tester - Python (8-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Python.

- Develop and implement test frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework) for efficient test execution and reporting.

- Create and maintain test data for automated tests.

- Implement Page Object Model (POM) or other design patterns for maintainable test scripts.

- Participate in test planning sessions and contribute to test strategy development.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.

- Identify and report defects using bug tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla).

- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

- Enhance and maintain existing test automation frameworks.

- Research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.

- Integration Testing: Develop and execute automated tests for API testing (e.g , using requests library).

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Participate in agile development methodologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and related tools.

- Experience with test automation frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework).

- Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
