SIP, Media Server

Summary:

Candidate with 3-7 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong background in network design, implementation, and maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure stable and timely delivery of product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud based call handling module using SIP, media server (such as Asterisk, Genesys PureConnect), webRTC, etc.
• Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Work closely with product managers to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the cutting edge.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to the development process.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualification:

• Strong knowledge of telecom systems, including VoIP, SIP, MPLS, and wireless technologies.
• Hands-on experience in client or server-side development, with a solid understanding of IMS/VoIP/SIP, RTP, and RTCP protocols.
• Experience with programming languages such as C++, NodeJS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Skilled in multi-threaded programming, STL (Standard Template Library), various design patterns, and experienced in low-level system design, system calls, and system re-architecture.
• Responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and ensuring the successful deployment of the application server.
