Job Description
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the software meets the defined requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects in the product.
- Work closely with developers to ensure proper debugging and resolution of issues.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to quality assurance activities.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices for QA and testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts and techniques.
- Familiarity with any test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright
- Basic programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
