Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Simulation Engineer to be a part of Simulation CoE team having specific expertise in the fields of Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical and CFD Simulations..
- The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of physics and a strong background in electrical simulations, particularly in electrostatic simulations for power transmissions and low frequency electro-magnetic simulations for solenoids, contactors, and instrument transformers..
- This role requires an in-depth understanding of electrical systems and the ability to apply advanced simulation techniques to design, analyze, and optimize our products.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate simulation results into broader project goals..
- Conduct detailed Electro-static, Electromagnetic simulations using FEA tools such as ANSYS Maxwell or COMSOL..
- Verify and validate the design and functionality of power transmission components, Reclosers, Solenoid actuators, Contactors to optmize designs and meet ANSI/IEEE Standards.
- Design and analyze control strategies for solenoids and linear electromagnetic actuators, focusing on energy efficiency and performance optimization..
- Analyze simulation data to derive insights and actionable recommendations for system improvements..
- Lead and manage simulation projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project deliverables..
- What will help you thrive in this role.
- 4-8 years of experience in electrical simulation.
- Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as ANSYS Maxwell or COMSOL..
- Strong experience in the design and simulation of Power Transmission and Distribution connectors, high voltage contactors, reclosers, and solenoids..
- Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams..
- Excellent technical communication skills, capable of preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
