Azure Data Governance Consultant

About the Role:

We are looking for an Azure Data Governance Consultant with a minimum experience of 12 years in Azure Data Governance Implementation Specialist for leading the deployment and management of Azure-based data governance solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in implementing and managing Azure Purview for data governance purposes.
• Expert learning of data cataloguing, data lineage and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in defining and enforcing data governance policies in enterprise environments.
• Good understanding of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, CCPA or HIPAA.
• Deep understanding of role-based access control and data security best practices.
• Hands-on experience in Azure data ecosystem tools such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
• Preferred Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate and Azure Data Fundamentals.
• Expertise in other governance tools and frameworks outside the Azure Purview.
• Familiarity with metadata management and data stewardship practices.
• In-depth in knowledge of Python or SQL for querying metadata and building governance-related automation.
