Job Description
- Must have good understanding of OSI model / Conceptual framework.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, determining wherever the issue will be in OSI model and escalate appropriately and create an incident.
- Good understanding of coding such as Java or.NET, Python, Groovy, PowerShell scripting and be able to review Java logging.
- Essential understanding of SQL, be able to run queries to troubleshoot, have knowledge of DB2 and MS SQL.
- Experience in troubleshooting integrations/API and MQ/APIs.
- Understanding of FTP applications, scripting for outbound SFTP and inbound SFTP.
- Experience in Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Database/file upload issues and troubleshoot.
- Experience in troubleshooting reconciliation jobs and reports.
- Basic understanding of networking not only at the CCNA level, but on understanding and knowing the OSI Model.
- Basic requirement for understanding basic Windows system administration, file naming conventions, as we as determining file locks, understanding of windows services and reviewing permissions.
- Good understanding of schedular such as titan or enterprise scheduler gem.
- Monitoring and reporting on service level objectives for given applications service.
- Working with business and product owners for establishing key performance indicators.
- Prior experience on Disaster Recovery and High Availability.
- Skilled in Incident Management, Triaging and Application L2 support.
