Vulnerability Assessment Specialist

About the Role:

Looking for a Vulnerability Assessment Specialist with over 3 years of experience to proactively identify and assess potential vulnerabilities across an organization s system, network and application.

Requirements:

• Experience in vulnerability assessment or information security.
• Strong understanding of network security protocols, operating systems and web applications.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS.
• In-depth knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and HIPAA.
• Behave vulnerability assessments on systems, networks, and applications.
• Identify and prioritize potential vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact.
• Cooperate with IT team to develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
• Develop guidance to IT staff on security best practices and mitigation techniques.
• Staying up to date on the latest security threats and trends and advise the IT team on potential risks.
• Collaborate with the incident response team to develop incident response plans and provide support during incidents.
• Constantly evaluate and improve the vulnerability assessment program.
• Preferred security certifications include CISSP, CISM and CEH.
