PHP Developer - MySQL/Javascript (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

This position will be responsible for assuming the support and development duties of PHP based applications with a MySQL backend system. You will be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

The ideal candidate, with 5years - 8years experience, will possess PHP development experience as well as the ability to develop in Java or be willing to learn Java to contribute to the larger team that supports a wide portfolio of applications.

Requirements :

- Proven software development experience in PHP

- Demonstrable experience of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc

- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services

- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

- Work closely with internal team and technical lead on implementation of design

- Follow Cardinal SDLC

- Work effectively within large, matrixed project teams

- Collaborate with internal peers

- Experience working in an Agile environment
