Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team.
- As an HR Generalist at Jivox, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions and ensuring the well-being and engagement of our employees.
- You will collaborate closely with department heads and team members to create and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives that align with our company's goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement:
- Plan, develop, and implement innovative and engaging activities to boost employee morale and foster a sense of community
- Create and maintain a calendar of employee engagement events, such as team-building activities, wellness challenges, and recognition programs
- Act as a champion for our company culture, ensuring that it remains vibrant, inclusive, and aligned with our values
HR Data and Reporting:
- Maintain HR records and generate reports as needed (HRIS and other platforms)
- Create and maintain company intranet (policies, benefit documents
- Spearhead the creation and implementation of a company intranet, serving as a centralized hub for important documentation and resources to be shared among all employees
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the company.
- This includes preparing necessary paperwork, coordinating training schedules, ordering welcome gifts and assisting with the setup of their workstations.
Employee Relations:
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics (benefits, leaves, policies, etc)
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Collaborate on the planning and coordination of training programs and workshops designed to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and foster professional growth
Company Culture Storytelling:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of a company culture newsletter to keep employees informed about company news, updates, and culture-related content
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to maintain and enhance the company's social media presence, with a focus on showcasing our positive workplace culture
- Generate engaging content that highlights employee achievements, company values, and cultural events
- Encourage employees to participate in and contribute to the company's social media initiatives, fostering a sense of belonging and pride
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Promote diversity and inclusion efforts, ensuring fair treatment of all employees, and supporting initiatives to create an inclusive workplace
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of professional HR experience
- Experience preferred in a US based company ideally in a software startup
- Exceptional creativity and the ability to think outside the box to develop unique engagement ideas
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information with discretion
- Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS platforms
- Proven overall experience as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced, technology driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work and showcase strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Shift - India working hours (hybrid schedule, 3 days in-office, 2 days wfh)
