Location

If in Ottawa, you must be in the office at least three days a week. Other Canadian Locations - Remote

This is a full-time, 12-month position, starting January 2025

What you will do

Create and update employee files in HR document management system
Support HR team with HRIS data validation and entries
Assist employees with HR-related inquiries
Perform a range of HR transactional/administrative tasks such as new hire and onboarding administration, create standard reports, HR content publication, and support on the background checks and benefits enrolment process
Work with other HR team members to shadow and learn about the different roles
Support the team with additional adhoc projects

What we are looking for

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can build strong working relationships.
Effective communication skills; both verbal and written
Excellent customer service skills
