Job Description

We are looking for a Fashion and Textiles Visual Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling displays that showcase our diverse range of fabrics, driving customer engagement, and enhancing the in-store experience. This role is crucial in communicating the brands identity and storytelling through innovative and attractive merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Display Design: Plan, create, and implement visual merchandising displays that highlight our latest fabric collections, seasonal trends, and special promotions.
• Trend Analysis: Research fashion and textile trends to ensure visual presentations are modern, relevant, and aligned with customer preferences.
• Space Management: Optimize store layouts and product placement to enhance customer flow and maximize sales.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align visual merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns.
• Fabric Presentation: Use creativity to drape, fold, and arrange fabrics in a way that emphasizes texture, color, and design.
• Window Displays: Conceptualize and execute eye-catching window displays to attract walk-in customers and increase footfall.
• Store Branding: Ensure that all visual elements reflect the company’s brand identity and vision.
• Customer Engagement: Assist the sales team in educating customers about the fabrics and their potential uses through visually engaging setups.
• Inventory Coordination: Monitor and ensure proper inventory levels in the store by coordinating stock requirements with the warehouses to avoid overstocking or understocking.
• Inventory Presentation: Work with the inventory team to ensure displayed items are well-stocked, neatly organized, and visually appealing in the store.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Visual Merchandising, Textile Design, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.
• Strong knowledge of fabric types, textures, and their applications in fashion and design.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools is a plus.
• Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
