Senior Backend Developer

HouseEazy is a fast-growing Proptech startup revolutionizing secondary real estate residential transactions by making them transparent, simple, and super-quick.

Responsibilities:

• Bring 3+ years of professional experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, MySQL, and MongoDB, including optimizing database performance and implementing data storage solutions using MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to designers, support teams, and other engineers.
• Ensure that all systems and applications meet scalability and performance standards.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers, and Front-end Developers to align and achieve development objectives.

Requirements:

• You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, including experience building, launching, and maintaining robust, feature-rich software projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Node.js, MongoDB, SQL, and at least one Node-based framework.
• Solid understanding of browser internals, the network stack, and web application performance optimization.
• Strong grasp of security best practices, with hands-on experience in implementing security measures.
• Skilled in writing clear, organized, and maintainable code.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage tasks autonomously, and drive projects to completion.
