Branch Collections Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage branch collections with a strong understanding of local credit culture and recovery agency relationships.
• Thorough knowledge about the customer segment and product dynamics of secured business loans and LAP.
• Ensure timely recovery of overdue payments, including charges, with assertive follow-ups and field visits.
• Allocate contracts based on performance and organize pre-due tele-calling for proactive collections.
• Monitor and update customer details, payment status, and collection metrics in systems and MIS.
• Analyze early warning signs from undelivered communications and address chronic cases promptly.
• Ensure compliance with audit processes, maintain branch registers, and reconcile bank entries within timelines.
• Appoint and manage collection/recovery agencies, ensuring target achievement and process adherence.
• Provide inputs for legal proceedings and handle police or court visits as needed.
• Track PTP commitments, publish collection performance reports, and monitor high POS accounts.
• Responsible for Vendor Management starting from empanelment to billing to agency audits
