Program Manager - Oil & Gas

As part of UOPs Global Project Management Office you will be UOP’s Project Manager responsible for execution of UOP’s Basic Engineering Design Packages (Sch A) and upon occasion FEED packages, for Refinery and Petrochemical Complexes globally.

This involves all project planning/ coordination and cost control activities. You will lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers, located globally, to achieve the deliverables to project schedule, contractual scope and quality. You will be UOP’s customer interface for the technical execution of the project throughout the project from award to plant start up.

Role & responsibilities ,

• E2E Sch A Engineering project execution
• Basic Engineering Design Packages
• Process Design Packages,
• Front End Engineering Design Packages (FEED)
• Customer SPOC
• Post delivery support on delivered project.
• Planning, forecasting and controlling costs/ project schedule, project plan, S-curve
• Mentoring team lead and project engineers
• Projects involving multiple Refining and or Petrochemical process units consisting of 2+ units with Engineering project values in range of~2 10 MUSD.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree in chemical engineering.
• 14 + years in Refinery & Petrochemical industry with more than 5+ years in Engineering Project Execution.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to communicate effectively on project stakeholder including Top management of customer /internal project stake holders.
• Recognized for an extensive background in technical knowledge of UOP Process Technologies
• Detailed knowledge of UOP Basic Engineering Package and the work process
• Gathers and analyzes the most important information, thereby understanding problems and their underlying causes, and arrives at sound problem solutions.
• Leading large multi-disciplined global teams
• Planning, forecasting and controlling project costs.
• Understanding of Engineering Agreements.
• Experience as lead process/lead project engineer in a Licensor.
• Organization, focus and drive assigned project.
• ability to lead projects independently.

We Prefer

• PMP certification
• Knowledge of SAP. CORA, SFDC, MS Project.
• Work experience with Oil Companies- India or abroad.
• Customer facing role (Service, sales)
• Site experience
