Senior Interior Designer

Job Description: Interior Designer (with Sales Responsibility)

Responsibilities:

1. Design & Conceptualization:

• Create innovative interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Develop detailed layouts, 2D/3D models, and mood boards using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
• Present design concepts to clients through visually appealing presentations.

2. Project Planning & Execution:

• Prepare detailed plans, elevations, and sections for project implementation.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee on-site work to ensure quality and adherence to approved designs.

3. Client Interaction:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget constraints.
• Regularly update clients on project progress and address their concerns.

4. Sales & Business Development:

• Engage with potential clients and present design solutions to convert leads into projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Achieve sales targets by promoting design services and closing deals effectively.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and follow up on leads.

5. Material Selection & Procurement:

• Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and decor items.
• Ensure all materials align with design specifications and budget.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 3-4 years in interior design, with a proven track record in sales.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Other Requirements:

• A proactive approach to handling clients and driving sales.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
