Land Surveyor

Role & responsibilities :

• Conduct Surveys: Perform land surveys to determine precise boundaries, elevations, and distances. Use various surveying tools and equipment, including GPS systems, total stations, and laser scanners.

• Prepare Survey Reports: Compile and analyze survey data to produce detailed maps, reports, and legal descriptions of land areas. Ensure all documentation complies with local regulations and standards.

• Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with architects, engineers, construction managers, and other professionals to provide accurate survey data for project planning and execution.
• Site Inspections: Visit and inspect survey sites to verify data accuracy, assess site conditions, and address any discrepancies.
• Data Analysis: Analyze survey data and provide recommendations based on findings. Identify potential issues and suggest solutions to ensure project success.
• Maintain Equipment: Regularly calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot surveying equipment to ensure its accuracy and functionality.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all surveying activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for survey work.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of survey data, methodologies, and project files. Prepare and present clear and concise reports to clients and stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile :

Education: Bachelors degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Certification: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or equivalent certification preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in land surveying, including experience with survey equipment and data analysis
