Job Title: Project Head Engineer

Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Head/Engineering to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, engineering, and project planning, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality residential properties. The Project Head/Engineering will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of project managers, site supervisors, architects, engineers, and contractors. Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Identify and address any financial risks or discrepancies.
• Material Budgeting: Manage the budgeting and procurement of construction materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the company's high standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of project milestones. • Engineering Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, ensuring all designs and plans meet the highest standards of quality and feasibility.
• Construction Management: Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Resolve any on-site issues promptly.
• Site and Construction Coordination: Regularly travel to project sites in Karjat, Pali, and Roha to coordinate site activities and construction processes. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among on-site teams.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Highlight key achievements, challenges, and action plans.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management and engineering, with a focus on residential projects, particularly farmhouses and villas.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in Karjat, Pali, and Roha.
