Automation Developer

Role review:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Developer with strong experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies, specifically using UiPath. As part of our Process Automation team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that drive business efficiency and improve operational performance. You will work closely with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality automation solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Automation Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy bots based on customer specifications, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
• RPA Lifecycle: Lead and execute all phases of the RPA lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• UiPath Expertise: Utilize UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and other relevant UiPath tools to build and deploy automation solutions. Ensure full utilization of UiPath Orchestrator functionalities.
• Custom Function Development: Create and integrate custom functions using VB or C# for advanced automation scenarios.
• Work with UiPath Document. Understanding and integrate it into automation processes where applicable.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Provide support in identifying and resolving production issues, improving automation performance, and optimizing workflows.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to capture requirements, provide progress updates, and deliver solutions.
• Ensure the implementation of RPA best practices, maintain high code quality, write unit tests, and follow established coding standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE in Computer Science, MCA, MSc (Computer Science), or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with RPA technologies, particularly UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Insights, UiPath Apps).
• RPA Life Cycle: Deep understanding of the RPA life cycle, from requirement gathering through to deployment and maintenance.
• UiPath Tools: Extensive experience with UiPath Orchestrator, UiPath Studio, and UiPath Knowledge of UiPath Framework is a plus.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in VB.NET or C# to create custom automation functions.
• Strong knowledge of RPA best practices, including code quality, unit testing, and development standards.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to think critically and implement solutions to improve automation efficiency.
• Collaboration: Proven experience in working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality automation solutions.
• Power Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.
