Associate- SAP Corporate Data Management

Purpose of role:

The Role holder will play an important role in providing global support for data solution topics, maintaining business rules (BRO), managing SAP classes, and reclassifying material masters.

This position requires a proactive approach to implementing and sustaining BRO applications while ensuring quality assurance across various data management processes.

Role & responsibilities

1. SAP Material Class Management:

• Create and maintain SAP material classes.
• Oversee the reclassification of material masters to ensure accuracy and compliance with business needs.

2. Business Rules (BRO) Development:

• Develop, document, and maintain business rules related to master data.
• Ensure that all rules are aligned with organizational standards and practices.

3. Support for Corporate Data Management Team

• Collaborate with the SAP Corporate Data Management Team to classify and reclassify master data, including Material Master, Business Partner, Info Record, Source List, Sales Condition, and Routings.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving data classification processes.

4. Documentation and Process Management

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all processes
• Follow up on all project-related processes to ensure timely completion and compliance.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Setting/Modifying QA processes, foolproof process and documentation of the processes

6. Application Improvements and Automation:

• Identify opportunities for application improvements and automation within the scope of master data management.
• Propose innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in data handling

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production or Industrial or Equivalent
• Basic ERP knowledge
• Engineering Drawing reading skills
• Knowing CAD tools is an added advantage
