Role & responsibilities

• Installation and Calibration: Setting up and calibrating new equipment, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices, to ensure they meet required specifications.
• System Integration: Integrating instrumentation with control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Safety Protocols: Following safety procedures for electrical and instrumentation work, especially in hazardous environments like oil rigs or chemical plants.
• Documentation and Reporting: Keeping detailed records of equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting, as well as updating system drawings and manuals.
• Supervision and Mentorship: As a senior technician, they may also supervise junior technicians and provide training or guidance on complex problems and solutions.
