Chief Chemist (Head of Quality)

Role & responsibilities

eadership: Lead and manage a team of 50 chemists and their managers, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.

Quality Assurance and Control: Organize and oversee quality assurance, quality control, microbiological analysis, and customer support functions within the department.

Regulatory Compliance: Establish systems and train personnel to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry certifications.

Policy and KPI Development: Develop and implement quality policies and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment and performance across all functions.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with operations, supply chain, logistics, and sales teams to meet customer requirements and support business objectives.

Certifications: Ensure the plant obtains and maintains necessary ISO and British Standard certifications to establish HL Agro as a leader in quality standards in India.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
