Job Description
- Property Sourcing & Research
- Identify potential property acquisition opportunities through market research, networking, and direct outreach.
- Analyze property market trends, sales comparables, and potential investment returns.
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners, brokers, developers, and other industry professionals.
- Due Diligence & Analysis
- Conduct site visits and evaluate property conditions, zoning regulations, and development potential.
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, and development) to assess feasibility, environmental impacts, and risk factors.
- Review property documentation, title reports, and survey information to identify any potential red flags.
- Negotiation & Acquisition
- Lead negotiations with property owners, brokers, and third parties to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts, purchase agreements, and other relevant legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company acquisition guidelines.
- Transaction Management
- Oversee the property acquisition process from offer to closing, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
- Coordinate with financial teams to ensure funding and budget alignment.
- Maintain accurate records of all acquisitions, including contracts, reports, and communications.
- Reporting & Strategy
- Provide regular reports on acquisition progress, property pipeline, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with senior management to align acquisition strategy with company goals.
- Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the acquisition process.
