Job Overview
The candidate will be working directly with the COO and other functional leads to drive mission-critical initiatives across Strategy, Product, Growth, Partnerships and Operations.
The role will be cross-functional and requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
1) Define and outline programs / projects basis organization priorities : Work with the COO to translate organizational goals into projects with
timelines, key stakeholders and delivery milestones
2) Roll-out key programs: After COO and relevant approvals, roll-out projects to relevant teams and track progress.
3) Manage Operating Rhythm & Governance: Develop a robust operating rhythm to ensure all programs and projects are executed as per the plan. Ensure strong governance structure is in place for these programs and work with key stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Manage COOs meetings to ensure focus across priority areas.
4) Internal Stakeholder management: Manage a strong and cordial relationship with cross functional stakeholders across the organization to ensure buy in and seamless execution of the initiatives.
5) Manage External relationships: Manage COOs meetings with external stakeholders- Clients, Investors, Vendors, Group Company Management, Media Partners etc. Do the pre-meeting work and define post-meeting action items.
6) Analysis, Reporting and MIS: Update the progress and status of the programs on a periodic basis to the COO. Analyze, prepare and maintain thorough reports on status, progress and actions for all the initiatives.
7) Screen and assess the quality of internal reports: be the gatekeeper for the work submitted to the COO office. Review with the teams before hand and handle changes done before presenting to COO.
8) Define SOPs and Standardize cross function processes: Define SOPs and processes for different functions. Identify opportunities to optimize processes and manage cross-functional programs to execute on the same.
Desired Skills and capabilities
1. Business acumen: You should have a strong understanding of business and revenue models, ability to translate business goals to functional goals for the organization
2. Leadership Skills: You possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage relationships with senior executives (COO direct reportees, other senior leaders in the organization) and senior peers. Ability to get work done without having reporting relationships with the teams
3. Strategic Planning: You should be able to track progress against the annual operating plan (AOP), strategic initiatives etc.
4. Communication Skills: You possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with senior team members, and other stakeholders.
5. Analytical Skills: You possess strong analytical skills to be able to work with large data sets, create actionable and insightful reports. Should be. Highly detail oriented and organized way of working: You should be organized and meticulous in day to day work, to be able to handle a variety of projects at a given point of time.
6.Education Qualification and Experience: You should be an Engineer and MBA from a Tier I college with 6-8 years of experience either in management consulting with a focus on strategy and operations engagements; or program management; or playing chief of staff role.
