Job Description:

In this role, you will:

- Manage and run application servers, web servers, databases, batch jobs, monitoring tools, performance tuning

- Support & troubleshoot scalability, availability, performance, monitoring, data backup and data restoring

- Develop and manage build packages, deployment scripts and automated deployments

- Develop tools and automated solutions in support of cloud hosted services

Skills:

- Proficiency in building linux servers in the cloud - AWS, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins

- Must have experience in monitoring tools such as Nagios, Cacti, Monit, Munin, Zabbix, NewRelic

- Must have experience with Auto-Scaling, High-Availability, Replication, Partitioning, Clustering, Sharding

- Must have experience with databases like MySQL, Redis, Solr, ElasticSearch, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Spark

- Must have experience with AWS and AWS products & services, RDS, S3, SNS, Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ

- Proficient in Debugging, Monitoring and Logging tools, Dashboard tools like ELK, Kibana

- Solid understanding of DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking and security best practices

- Must have experience in analyzing and resolving performance, scalability and reliability issues

- Proficient in scripting and one or more programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
