About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions.

You will be responsible for building robust and scalable microservices using Java and the Spring Framework.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Java-based services utilizing the Spring Boot framework, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

- Implement, support, troubleshoot, and maintain applications throughout their lifecycle.

- Collaborate effectively within an agile development team, contributing to all phases of the software development process.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application performance and stability.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Java, Spring, and related technologies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

- Adhere to established coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.

- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of professional experience in software development.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented principles.

- Extensive experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.)

- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and design principles.

- Experience with relational databases (i.e., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (i.e., MongoDB).

- Experience with RESTful APIs and API Gateway technologies.

- Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently1 and as part of a team.

- A strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with containerization technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban).

- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
