Quality Automation Specialist - ETL/Datawarehouse Testing (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

API Automation :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive API test automation scripts using Rest Assured and UFT.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand API specifications and identify potential testing scenarios.

- Perform thorough API functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Analyze API response times, error handling, and security vulnerabilities.

ETL Testing :

- Validate the accuracy and completeness of data transformations and loads using SQL queries.

- Monitor data pipelines and identify data quality issues.

- Develop test cases to verify data integrity and consistency.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing (CI/CD) :

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and Gitlab Runner.

- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure timely and reliable test execution.

- Monitor test execution results and troubleshoot failures.

Test Automation Framework :

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust test automation frameworks.

- Design and implement reusable test components and libraries.

- Optimize test execution time and maintainability.

Performance Testing :

- Utilize LoadRunner Enterprise to conduct performance tests and identify bottlenecks.

- Analyze performance metrics, such as response time, throughput, and resource utilization.

- Work with development teams to optimize application performance.

Troubleshooting :

- Utilize Splunk logs to analyze system behavior and identify root causes of issues.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve problems efficiently.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with API automation using Rest Assured and UFT.

- Proficiency in Java programming and SQL queries.

- In-depth knowledge of continuous integration and continuous testing tools, such as Gitlab and Gitlab Runner.

- Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner Enterprise.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
