MECM/SCCM Engineer - Patch Management (5-9 yrs)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking a talented and experienced MECM/SCCM Engineer with a focus on Windows Server patching using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and other related tools.

The candidate will be responsible or coordinating, deploying, and troubleshooting patches and vulnerabilities on Windows servers while ensuring adherence to best practices in vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Coordinate, deploy, and troubleshoot patches and vulnerabilities on Windows servers.

- Monitor patch compliance and troubleshoot any issues related to patching activities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful patch deployments without disrupting business operations.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Windows patch management technologies and best practices.

- Lead fellow engineers troubleshooting patching failures and provide technical guidance

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience working with MECM/SCCM in a Windows environment.

- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript) for automation purposes.

- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and patch management concepts.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.

KEY SKILLS ( MANDATORY) : Windows server, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, Windows Patching , Azure
