Treasury or TRM experience is required.

Should have experience in Banking applications.

Job Summary:

The SAP FICO Consultant will be responsible for configuring and optimizing the SAP FICO modules, providing business solutions, and developing custom reports and programs. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes. The consultant should have both functional and technical expertise to translate business requirements into system solutions and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities:

Business Process Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document financial requirements across key areas, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), and Cost Center Accounting.

- Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend SAP solutions to enhance financial and controlling functions.

SAP FICO Configuration:

- Configure the FI module, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and New GL functionalities, to meet business requirements.

- Configure the CO module components, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (COPA).

- Maintain and customize the SAP FICO system to ensure that it aligns with financial and operational reporting requirements.

Financial Data Management and Reporting:

- Design and manage SAP FICO reports, must have reconciliation knowledge and should be able to resolve reconciliation issue along with finance and accounts team

- Enable and optimize financial close processes, ensuring all activities like month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing are configured for efficiency.

- Work with DWH and SAP TRM teams to integrate FICO data into company-wide reporting solutions and for Business Functions.

Testing & Training:

- Conduct functional testing for new configurations, enhancements, and patches.

- Create and execute UAT scripts, support end-users during UAT, and address issues before go-live.

- Prepare and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users, empowering them with knowledge on SAP FICO processes.

Documentation & Compliance:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all FICO configurations, customizations, and processes.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory regulations, including support for audit requirements.

Support & Troubleshooting:

- Provide support to resolve FICO issues and answer user queries on financial transactions, master data management, and reporting.

- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and recommend long-term fixes and process improvements.
