Key Responsibilities:
• Network Design & Implementation:
o Design, configure, and manage the organizations network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, across multiple branches in India.
o Implement and maintain SD-WAN solutions to provide optimal connectivity and ensure seamless network performance across geographically distributed branches.
o Coordinate and manage the setup of new branch office networks and participate in office relocation and shifting projects, ensuring timely and effective network implementation.
• ISP Management:
o Manage and maintain relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to ensure high availability and redundancy of internet connections at all office locations.
o Monitor ISP performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure SLAs are adhered to for network uptime and speed.
• Network Maintenance & Monitoring:
o Monitor network performance using appropriate tools, ensuring uptime and optimal network speeds across all branch locations.
o Troubleshoot network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure continuous connectivity for all branches.
o Ensure the network infrastructure is regularly updated with the latest firmware, patches, and security configurations.
• Office Setup & Shifting:
o Plan and execute the setup of network infrastructure (cabling, routers, switches) for new office branches or during office relocations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
o Manage the shifting of network resources and configurations during office moves, ensuring proper reconfiguration and network access at new locations.
• Network Security & Compliance:
o Ensure the security of the network by implementing appropriate firewall configurations, monitoring for threats, and applying network access controls.
o Work with the cybersecurity team to ensure the network complies with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Capacity Planning & Optimization:
o Perform regular network assessments and capacity planning to ensure the network can support future growth, traffic increases, and additional branch locations.
o Recommend and implement network optimization strategies to improve performance and reduce latency, especially for critical business applications.
• Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes across all branches.
o Provide regular reports on network performance, incident resolutions, and upcoming projects to senior IT management.
• Vendor & Hardware Management:
o Collaborate with hardware vendors to procure and manage network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) required for branch offices.
o Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and support contracts to ensure uptime and performance of critical network infrastructure.
• Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with IT infrastructure, security, and server teams to ensure the network meets the organizations business and security needs.
o Provide support and training to local branch IT teams on network troubleshooting and basic management tasks.
