Controls & Linkages

Job Description:

Design and develop control systems and linkages for tractors, - functionality, efficiency, and user interface.

• Linkage effort and travel calculations and sketches for concept generations
• Mechanical structural strength calculations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems into tractor designs. • Drive DFA/DFM/DFS
• High level of literacy in Siemens NX and Teamcenter. • Experience on GD & T, Tolerance Analysis
• Good Knowledge in Drafting Standards, especially ASME 14.5M
• Provide technical support and training for internal teams and customers as needed
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and field service teams to ensure successful
• Prepare detailed documentation of design proposals and convergence,
• Ensure all designs meet regulatory and safety standards (Domestic & International)
• Resolving the build issues resolution based on the functional, performance, DVP, fitment, and testing feedback
• Should have a complete understanding of Tractor /farm equipment / Target setting, Ergonomics, design & Dev, testing and validation.
• Should be expertise in vehicle Controls & linkage layout preparation,
• Should have knowledge of mechanisms and activation.
• Should have participated in performance testing, analyze data to ensure system validation.
• Should have knowhow of effort Estimation and timeline preparation,
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in agricultural technology and control systems.
• Identify opportunities for innovation in tractor control mechanisms and linkages.
