Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day operations of the site.
• Responsible for maintaining hygiene standards at site and ensure that the site team does not engage in unhealthy habits like chewing of tobacco etc.
• Ensure that the site is cleaned every day at the closure of work at site.
• Responsible for Checking Material received at site with reference to quality and quantity. Sign delivery challans and submit the challans to the person designated at Head Office.
• Ensure adequate security and safety standards for equipment, tools and labour.
• Compliance with all client policies and procedures regarding site working, safety etc.
• Take measurements before the job in order to ensure that quotations made properly taking into account site conditions.
• Supervise and evaluate staff; complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; overtime records etc and provide positive direction to motivate quality performance; discipline personnel when necessary and appropriate
• Oversee projects to completion on schedule and track progress.
• Advise any site changes including design to the Project Manager/Project Execution Head/Design Head/Management.
• Prepare reports, drawings etc as may be required by HR/Project Manager/Management.
• Comply with all the reporting requirements of the Company.
• Create and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders.
• Responsibility for all the material at site and must personally oversee unloading of material and checking for quantity and quality and revert with any discrepancies immediately.
• Control on proper use of consumables at site in order to minimise costs and wastage.
• Taking correct measurements for work completed to ensure proper billing to clients.
• Collect signed feedback form from the client and file properly.
• Take photos of project and file properly & in monthly meetings share his experience.
• Responsible for security and storage of costly hardware.
• Responsible for maintaining highest Safety Standards at Site.
• Assist the Project Manager if site headed by a Project in fulfilling his duties.
• Any other responsibility as may be allocated by the Project Manager/Project Head/Management from time to time.
