Senior Data Engineer - Scala (4-6 yrs)

Role : Sr. Data Engineer - Scala

Summary :

Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and modifies new and existing applications in areas such as Database or analytics development, and data integrations. Provides system support, testing, and training for Enterprise Data Lake clinical data.

Proven 4-6 years' work experience as an Azure Data engineer/Developer or similar role.

- Strong knowledge in Scala, Spark, SQL, and Data Bricks

- Demonstrated experience building Data Pipelines, Data Streams and optimizing data platforms.

- Experience Azure data services and languages to store and produce cleansed and enhanced datasets.

- Hands-on experience implementing data migration and data processing using Azure services, Serverless Architecture, Data Factory, Databricks Azure Data Catalog, Azure DevOps

- Experience in agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team

- Provide direction, guidance, and expertise to a team of database developers, and analysts, as well as collaborating with stakeholders.

- Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams.

- Experience in clinical data and analytics solutions preferable.
