Quality Control Manager- Pipe Segment- Hindupur Plant (Andhra Pradesh)

Role & responsibilities

• Perform inspections at various production stages to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage the testing and validation of raw materials and finished products.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to meet international standards (e.g., ISO, API, ASTM).

Certifications & Approvals:

• Lead efforts to secure and maintain certifications for export markets.
• Liaise with certification bodies and regulatory agencies for compliance audits.
• Keep updated with global quality standards and export norms.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree or related field.

Experience:

• 06-07 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control within the Steel & Pipe Industry.
• Proven expertise in managing export quality certifications and approvals.

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of global quality standards (ISO 9001, API, ASTM, etc.).
• Proficiency in quality management tools and systems like Six Sigma, 8D, or similar methodologies.
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
