Assistant Manager-Solar Design&Drawing

An Assistant Manager Solar design and Drawing achieves a high performance standards in design and documentation to ensure uninterrupted project delivery. The candidate should possess knowledge of solar plant commissioning and technical aspect. Their roles and responsibilities are as follows:-

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Study of tender documents, Preparation of technical Queries
• Site visit and preparation of site visit report
• Substation design
• Load Calculations, CT sizing, PT sizing, Battery charger, UPS, Transformer selection
• Preparation of GTP, GA, Review, POS of equipment as per tender specification and IEC, IEEE, IS
• Preparation of SLD, layout, cable schedule, Electrical system Design, MCR, ICR, YARD, etc.
• Responsibility for GTP/Engineering approvals
• Co-ordination with a design consultant for design engineering work
• Design photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial projects
• Develop electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and CAD layouts
• Optimize energy generation through performance simulations using PV syst
• Gather and analyze project site data for system design
• Recommend design/process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and implement cost-reduction strategies
• Develop and enforce quality and safety standards for solar installation

• Expertise in Auto CAD, Sketch up, and PV Syst
• Strong accountability and commitment
• Proficiency in electrical and earthing layouts

Education & Qualification:

• B.E/B.tech in Electrical with 4 to 5 years of experience in Solar Designing and Drawing
