Senior Quality Analyst

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Manual and Automation QA Tester to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our online applications through a combination of manual and automation testing methodologies. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and reporting bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience, and contributing to the overall success of our platform.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality
• Conduct manual and automated testing, identifying and documenting defects and issues
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Identify, prioritize, and report defects and issues to the development team
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and changes do not negatively impact existing functionality
• Continuously improve the testing process through the use of new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Provide regular reports on testing progress and results to management
• Mentor and train other team members in manual and automation testing techniques
• The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and automation testing methodologies and tools

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-7 years of experience in the software quality field
• At least 1 year of experience working in the eCommerce domain
• Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes
• Good knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies and QA Automation processes in SDLC
• Familiarity with defect & test management tools like ClickUp, Jira, GitLab, and Trello.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
• Effective team and subordinate management skills.
• Excellent project time reporting and management capabilities.
• Ability to explain technical matters to non-technical people and propose solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
