Finance Transformation Architect
- The primary objective is to implement industry best practices, modernize processes, and reimplement technology.

- For the same, ITC Infotech is looking for a highly skilled Finance Techno-Functional Architect with a Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification and extensive hands-on experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- This role requires a unique blend of deep financial expertise and technical knowledge to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise financial systems.
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions while driving finance transformation initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end financial systems, with a focus on integrating finance processes across ERP platforms.
- Collaborate with finance, business, and IT stakeholders to understand and define financial requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ERP system.
- Provide expertise in financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management, and Financial Reporting.
ERP Implementation & Configuration:
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and implementation of ERP financial modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials, MS Dynamics AX).
- Lead or assist in the migration of legacy financial systems to new ERP platforms, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal business disruption.
- Support the integration of financial data with other enterprise systems (HR, procurement, supply chain, etc.) for seamless workflows and data accuracy.
Business & Functional Analysis:
- Work closely with senior finance stakeholders to identify business needs, assess current financial processes, and define future requirements.
- Act as a bridge between the finance department and IT teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into system functionality.
- With Finance functional background, provide insights into financial best practices, ensuring the ERP system supports key accounting principles and reporting requirements.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Design and configure financial reporting solutions within the ERP system to meet business needs, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Ensure the ERP system supports audit requirements and compliance with accounting standards (local and international).
- Work on automating financial processes, reducing manual intervention, and improving operational efficiency.
System Integration & Data Management:
- Oversee the consolidation of financial data across various business systems to maintain uniformity and precision in financial reporting.
- Partner with data management and IT teams to safeguard the integrity, quality, and security of financial data within the ERP system.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for migrating financial data from old legacy systems to new ERP platforms, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required, with in-depth knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, reporting, and compliance.
- 15+ years of experience in a techno-functional role, specifically in the finance domain, with hands-on experience implementing and configuring ERP financial modules (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Proven experience in finance transformation projects, including ERP system design, configuration, and deployment.
- Strong background in financial accounting (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets) and management accounting (e.g., Costing, Profitability Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting).
- Experience with multi-national ERP systems and exposure to global finance operations is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials, or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Familiarity with system integration techniques and tools (e.g., middleware, APIs, ETL processes) to integrate finance systems with other enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of financial data management and ability to define financial reporting requirements within ERP systems.
- Ability to work with tools for financial analytics and reporting (e.g., BI tools, Excel, Power BI).
