Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- To be responsible for procurement of Electrical Items & Instruments (Drives, Motors, Contactor, Switches, PLC, Relays, Thyristor, MCB & Cables etc.)
- Setting up the weekly, monthly, quarterly procurement plan
- Cost Estimation and Contract Negotiations
- To be responsible for end-to-end procurement process including RFQ creation, negotiation & PO management
- Stock & Material Management
- Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills
- Negotiation with the vendors for Rate, Delivery and Payment Terms
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery
- New Vendor Development
- Obtaining quotations & compilation for cost comparison
Knowledge of SAP & MS Office
