Role & responsibilities

HSE Strategy and Compliance

      1.    Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and frameworks tailored for project execution in the renewable energy sector.

      2.    Ensure compliance with national and international HSE regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

      3.    Conduct risk assessments, hazard analysis, and audits for ongoing and planned projects.

Project Execution Support

      1.    Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to integrate HSE requirements in the project lifecycle, from planning to commissioning.

      2.    Lead the HSE aspects of contractor and supplier evaluation processes, ensuring adherence to company safety and environmental standards.

      3.    Monitor HSE performance indicators for all projects and report findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.

Incident Management

      4.    Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

      5.    Prepare and deliver detailed incident reports and lessons-learned documentation to stakeholders.

Training and Awareness

      1.    Develop and deliver HSE training programs for headquarters staff and field personnel, focusing on renewable energy project risks.

      2.   Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all teams and functions.

Sustainability and Innovation

      3.   Drive sustainability initiatives related to renewable energy projects, including waste reduction, resource efficiency, and circularity practices.

      4.   Stay updated on HSE trends, technologies, and innovations specific to renewable energy and implement best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

      •     Strong knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements and industry standards.

      •     Experience with project execution processes, including installation, operation, and
commissioning phases.

      •     Ability to lead incident investigations and develop comprehensive reports.

      •     Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

      •     Familiarity with tools/software for HSE management and reporting.
