What You´ll Do.
Design and develop polymer-based products (e.g., coatings, adhesives, sealant etc.).
Formulate new materials based on customer or market requirements and improve existing products.
Perform chemical and physical characterization of polymers using techniques such as FTIR, DSC, TGA, DMA and rheometer..
Conduct mechanical, thermal, and environmental testing to ensure product quality and compliance..
Collaborate with Application Engineers (AE) to customer trials and prototyping..
Troubleshoot issues during scale-up and improve process efficiency..
Manage multiple R&D projects, meeting milestones and deadlines..
Prepare technical documentation, such as test reports, regulatory filings, and project summaries..
Work with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to understand client needs and communicate technical solutions..
Present findings and proposals to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical..
Ensure materials meet industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) and regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, RoHS)..
What makes you a good fit.
Minimum 2 years in an industrial R&D setting, preferably in product development for polymers adhesive, sealant, coatings, or related applications..
Masters degree in Polymer Chemistry.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail..
Excellent communication and teamwork skills..
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment..
