Justification.
The position is needed to support Supply Chain Management applications as part of establishing an application management function within Digital for T&O.
The most critical need for this particular position is triggered by the person who used to look after TXT (Supply Chain Management application ) has left Digital.
Key responsibilities :
- Design, analyze and implement efficient IT systems (inc. overseeing system upgrades).
- Provide 2nd line support.
- Vendor Management.
- Identify problems and opportunities within Hempel and provide Digital solutions in line with overall Hempel strategy and Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
- Assist on development of Features and User Stories with business stakeholders.
- Prevent technological debt.
Key tasks :
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their issues and requirements.
- Develop and analyze functional specifications.
- Coordinate with developers to build and implement technology solutions.
- Facilitate and hand over user acceptance test of deliveries.
- Plan and oversee deployments (e.upgrades, hardware/software installations).
- Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams.
- Gather feedback from end users about system performance and adjust accordingly.
- Analyse ticket trends to identify areas of improvement.
- Provide advice and technical training.
- Keep abreast of technology trends and developments.

- Develop and select the best, most efficient and robust Digital solutions and integrations which can be used by other teams/projects.
- Stakeholder satisfaction with deliveries (VoC).

- Commercial, Digital, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Master Data and 3rd parties.
Required education, experience and job-related skills :
- An academic background within the field of Information Technology.
- At least 2-5 years experience as an IT Consultant, IT Analyst or IT Progammer or similar role.
- Good understanding of software architecture, design principles and integrations patterns.
- Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting.
-Some programming experience with strong knowledge of SQL (MS SQL) and a good understanding of SOAP/Postman for webservices, XML and Java Script.
- Experience with supply chain management applications would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of business processes.
- Experience working with ITIL, ServiceNow (or similar tool) and continual improvement.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing preferred.
- CSI mindset.
- Experience working in an international environment with teams and stakeholders in multiple locations and time zones.
- Fluent in English, verbal and in writing.
