Solar Design and Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Calculations & Design
• BOM Preparation
• Overseeing project execution (Project design to Meter Installation)
• Project Design, Planning& execution up to 1 MW in Roof Top and 2MW in Ground Mountain.

Depending on the specific position and role, your job will involve some or all of the following:

Experienced professional in software like AutoCAD, Sketch-up, PVsyst.

Responsible for conducting site surveys for capacity analysis, shadow analysis and plant designing.

Design multiple energy systems and develop design specifications and functional requirements for ground mounted, commercial, industrial and residential solar energy systems components.
Preparing Array layouts, SLD, BOM, 3D project modelling, Structure, fabrication drawings & RFQ preparation.
Multiple Project handling, Coordinate with purchase team, marketing and technical team and with installer as well as with vendors.

Doing AC & DC cable sizing, earthing calculation, string configurations.
Tender technical specifications and abstracting BOM from that. Handlings Pre -bid meetings.
Preparation of detailed layout as per CEIG requirement.
Site Execution and Commissioning.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of solar power plant (Designing and Execution and Commissioning)
Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

Time management and people management skills will be valuable.

Great communication skill.

Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.

Problem-solving skills to resolve complex design issues.
