Barista

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations based on customers preferences.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision and care.
• Ensure that all beverages are made according to the companys standards and recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the café area and equipment.
• Follow health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation.
• Handle cash and process customer transactions accurately.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and stocking supplies as needed.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Preferred candidate profile

• Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• A strong passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about coffee brewing and preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay organized under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
