Job Description
enviro India is looking for Environmental Planner to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
Environmental Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement the organization's environmental strategy, goals, and objectives in alignment with corporate values and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated with environmental laws, regulations, and standards applicable to the organization's operations.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with environmental laws and regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
Sustainable Practices:
- Identify and promote sustainable practices, such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and water conservation, across the organization.
- Implement initiatives to reduce the organization's carbon footprint and promote environmental sustainability.
Collaboration and Training:
- Collaborate with different departments to integrate environmental considerations into their processes and decision-making.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees to foster an environmentally conscious workplace culture.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to environmental performance.
- Prepare regular reports on environmental metrics, goals, and progress for internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, environmental organizations, and communities, to build positive relationships and address concerns.
Innovation and Research:
- Stay informed about emerging environmental technologies and best practices.
- Research and recommend innovative solutions to improve environmental performance.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the environmental budget, ensuring cost-effective implementation of environmental initiatives.
Qualification Masters in Planning with specialisation in Environmental Planning/Urban Planning OR B.E (Civil/Mechanical from renowned university)
